Once I’ve recorded some input from an AUV3 plugin into a clip, I don’t seem to then be able to play new notes over the top.

I have both the track and the clip selected, but nothing gets recorded to the clip. I can create and record a new, blank clip just fine - but editing or overdubbing an existing clip with new input captures nothing.
