A function that would let the user use an MPE controller on a non MPE synth. This would probably also need to entail creating a template editor of some sort (with a way to edit input curves from controllers), and a disclaimer that it wouldn’t work well on all synths, because not all synths have a wide range of expression parameters baked in. Honestly, this might be a programming nightmare, but it is a compelling concept for users. I could envision a use case that reroutes midi ccs to both a synth and plug-in effect from an MPE controller as well.
