Native AUv3 MIDI clips in Ableton Live export
Clayton Miller
Live set export is already a great feature, but this would take it to a new level.
Since Ableton supports AUv3 on Apple Silicon Macs, having this as an option would enable a fully nondestructive workflow from starting a project in SAND to finishing it in Ableton Live.
Obviously not all AUv3 plugins are available on MacOS, so you’d have to have some level of granular control over which tracks get rendered versus exported natively, but it could still be a game changer with the plugins that support it.
