Basic export to Ableton is almost ready to test. Including the plugins is going to be tricky, as there's no official way to do this in the SDK Ableton provides, let's see how it goes

Very cool that you started working on this!!! When implementing this feature, please note that plugin IDs from iOS can be re-used on the desktop - I can confirm this at least on a Mac. For instance, the .als export of Korg Gadget 2 loads perfectly into Ableton if you have the Korg Gadget plugin suite for desktop. The project loads with all the correct (VST) plugins, and the imported project in Ableton sounds exactly the same as in Gadget on the iPad. Even the correct presets are loaded. I know, this might be very tricky but at least loading the plugins if available would be so cool. Please note that Bitwig can also import Ableton Live .als files. This works well as long as it doesn't utilize some advanced Live devices. I volunteer to beta test the import into Bitwig.

This feature, together with support to AUv3 midi effects, is essential for my workflow. I could start the ideas and clip recordings in Sand (with midi fxs incuded) and then move to Ableton Live to keep working and finishing the song.
As to the export to Ableton Live feature:
- A good starting point would be to get the tempo and time signature together with all the tracks and clips (scenes) imported in the session view of Ableton.
- It would also be superb to get the same instruments (or even fxs) loaded in the corresponding tracks if they had Mac OS versions.
If you think it is useful , I could help initiating a list of instruments plugins which have both versions iOS and Mac OS.
